Tenders, site measurement and material deliveries feed a Zoho Creator construction platform covering BOQ and costing, project execution, measurement and billing, and material inspection, integrated with Zoho Projects and reporting back as dashboards and approvals.

Where they started

A construction business managing the project lifecycle across separate tools: tendering and BOQ creation in one place, costing in another, measurement and billing by hand, and material inspection on paper. Estimate against actual could only be worked out after a project closed, which made it a record of what had happened rather than something anyone could act on.

What we built

An end-to-end construction platform in Zoho Creator. The BOQ and costing structure is configurable and versioned, so a revision is recorded rather than overwritten. Measurement runs against the BOQ line it belongs to and billing is generated from it, which removes the re-keying between what was measured and what was billed.

Material arrives through a delivery challan workflow that carries into inspection, with digital approvals at each step. Zoho Projects handles execution tracking alongside it, and estimate-against-actual reporting is available by location while work is in progress.
